The supporting structure should match the building's load-bearing capacity. Water tanks with a capacity exceeding 10 tons must be equipped with multiple support points, and the load at each support point should not exceed 80% of the building structure design value. The thickness of the concrete base shall not be less than 150 millimeters, and the steel frame structure shall be treated with rust prevention and equipped with shock-absorbing pads.
Sealing performance testing includes full water test and pressure test. The pressure valve is selected based on the pressure of the local water supply network, with a conventional configuration of a 0.6 megapascal safety valve. High rise buildings require a secondary pressurization device to be added. Observe for leakage after 48 hours of water injection, and fill the joints with food grade sealant.
The maintenance cost includes cleaning cycles and component replacement frequency. Through life cycle cost analysis, the comprehensive cost of enamel water tanks used for more than 15 years is 40% lower than that of stainless steel materials. Rubber sealing rings are replaced annually, and sunshades need to be installed in areas with strong ultraviolet radiation to delay material aging. When purchasing in bulk, suppliers can be required to provide galvanized steel sheet raw material testing reports and enamel sintering temperature records to ensure that the production process meets the standards. Special requirements such as obtaining fire product certification for fire water tanks, with clear labeling of the storage temperature range. During transportation, pay attention to protecting the edges and corners, use specialized lifting straps to avoid surface scratches, and immediately inspect for any transportation damage upon arrival. Food grade water tanks must provide a hygiene permit, and medical water supply systems must be equipped with an additional ultraviolet disinfection module.
